Hello! It’s me
A little about me-
I’m a bio major in college in my junior year, and a homeschool graduate.
I live in the world (how’s that for ambiguity, mom?) with my two parents, two siblings, and fish who hide when I try to count them.
I am a daughter of the one True King, and this is what I believe. My life’s mission is to bring glory to God through my actions and my words.
By day, I’m a student, a blogger, and a musician.
By night, I’m asleep. Usually. I’m fairly well known for having odd sleeping schedules.
My hobbies include knitting, crafting in general, reading, and photography. I also do lots of weird stuff, and you can find a conglomeration of that scattered all over this blog.
I am an ESFP, which means that I can be “found spontaneously breaking into song and dance” and that I can “get caught up in the excitement of the moment, and want everyone else to feel that way, too”. (from the 16 personalities website). I share my ESFP-ness with my best friend.
I like a lot of types of music. My music taste is super electic, so go find me on spotify here.
I sing when I have a song in my head, or in my heart, although I have been told repeatedly that I cannot sing. Usually, you can find my wandering around singing tunes of some sort.
I’m also a flautist and a pianist, with a bit of bassoon and violin scattered in also known as I can’t play either but like to think I can
I want to be things. I want to be a photographer, I want to be a writer, I want to be an artist. I can’t do any of those things, and I’m okay with that, because that’s just who I am.
I am a goal setter. I set New Year’s Resolutions, School Year Goals, Bucket Lists, Monthly Goals, Quarterly Goals, Weekly Goals, and all the goals.
My happy place is the library. Or Barnes and Nobles. Anywhere with books. I am a big book person, and I may or may not shock all my librarians when I tell them I read 168 books for the summer reading program.
I can often be found reading historical fiction with no romance, mystery series books like Nancy Drew, the Hardy Boys (I read series because I know no one dies), and classics for school, which I do my best to like (but THEY SO BORING!)
You can usually find me studying, either for school or for Science Olympiad, which I love with a passion, or else on the Internet procrastinating from studying.
I’m weird. Wait, I’m LIMITED EDITION. But I’m just weird. Okay. I’m so okay with that, because that means I can do stupid things and can use “I’m weird” as an excuse.
I don’t discriminate against colors (that makes me weird, right?). I particularly like light blue/turquoise/aqua/colors like that, but I ain’t sayin’ anything.
If you’ve read to here, I applaud you and hand you chocolate.
Now, it’s your turn. What do you like? Who are you? Do you blog? Drop me a comment down below and let me know!
Hey! You’re awesome and we are a lot alike though I love classics and Nancy Drew was never my fave. I communicate in song lyrics and book stores rock!
Soo it’s awesome to find your blog and I look forward to reading more!

Hey 😜 Okay, so that emoji is a little strange… Anyways, it seems like we have some stuff in common💛
I am homeschooled, too! Well actually my Mom recently said that I am done with school, so I guess I am done! The awesome perks of homeschooling😁 I love singing and dancing at the most awkward times, also😉
I love to craft and bake! Oh, yes, I can’t forget about the most important part about me…I am a Christian ❤️
I am also a ‘limited edition’!! I LOVE the word choice you chose there!
I enjoy reading, too! Have you ever read the Christy Miller Series, By: Robin Jones Gunn??
And lastly, I am a fellow blogger…Check it out @ https://christcraftsandcuisine.wordpress.com/
Have a wonderful day 🌻

Hi!
Haha, that’s the best part about homeschooling “You’re done with school!” “Okay, mom, so am I ‘graduated’ now?” 😛
I’ve read a couple books by Robin Jones Gunn. I don’t think that I’ve read enough to judge her books, but I haven’t disliked them.
Wow, we do have a lot in common! I’ll definitely have to check out your blog!

HOW HAVE I NOT COME TO YOUR BLOG YET. HOW.
Anyhoo… OH MY WORD, you sound like such an amazing human being and EEP, YOUR BLOG IS SO BEAUTIFUL ACK!!!!!! ❤ The aesthetic….it is glorious… And I PLAY THE VIOLIN, TOO!!! Sort of…kind of… (I'm learning…? XD) But it is SO much fun and is definitely one of my favorite instruments that I've ever tried! I've tried piano, guitar, bongos (okay, those are really fun, too, but whatever), but violin is seriously my favorite… And I KNIT TOO, YAY!!!! #knittersunite!!!
Also, I just wanted to mention that I read your My Mission page, and DUDE. I LOVE IT. You are so brave and inspiring for listing all of the things you believe (I share your opinion on all of it, as a matter of fact) and it's just so refreshing to find someone who is declaring the truth, rather than bending to society. You are amazing, dear bean. Simply amazing! ❤

DUDE I DON’T KNOW. (but I’m glad you’re here now!!)
Thanks! I redid my blog late last year, and I’m loving the aesthetic! (I’m actually really bad at aesthetics, so I’m still working on it XD). I’m actually really bad at violin XD I was okay for when I learned, but it’s been at least 5 years
AND YAY FOR KNITTERS!
Aww thank you for the sweet words!! (I should probably update my mission page; haven’t done that in a while) I am a strong believer in speaking the truth in love, so I like having what I believe written out for both the public as well as myself to see. 🙂
Thank you for your comment, Kenzie! It was so sweet!

I HAVE BEEN MISSING SO MUCH IN MY LIFE TILL THIS MOMENT. I’m so glad I’m here, too!!!!
Oooh! I love revamping the style of my blog!! But I can’t really do that now, because I made a bunch of happy cookies, and I can’t tear them down… XD I think your aesthetic is looking wonderful so far, so KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, DEAR BEAN!!! XD Oh goodness, I’m pretty bad at it, too! XD I mean, I’m OKAY at it, but yeah… Still pretty bad. XD
YESSSSSSS!!! *high-fives*
Awww, you are most welcome!!! (Ugh, same! My ‘about’ page has been the exact same as when I first typed it when I began my blog. XD) YES!!! I definitely agree! It’s a little hard for me to write Christianly posts for some reason (it’s more for the fear of coming across as preachy than being judged, I think…) but that is something that I’m hoping to remedy this year! And your Missions page really inspired me to break out of my comfort zone, so THANK YOU. 😀 ❤
Awww!!! You're most welcome!!! ❤

Preachy is definitely something to keep aware of. (wow hanne a+ english) But I think my platform is still small enough that it doesn’t offend a lot of people? I encourage you to go for it, Kenzie! Good luck with it!

Oh, yeah, I definitely love my small platform. It’s nice and cozy, and I don’t have to worry about anything exploding in my face… XD But I also don’t think you’re preachy at all! You’ve accomplished like the perfect amount of honesty/non-preachy-ness. XD
EEP! Thank you!!! I’m going to try! Hopefully when I’m back from Hiatus, I’ll have some ideas…. XD

Good to know! I tried to keep it from being blared in peoples’ faces, but visible enough that people can see if/when they are looking for it.
